Go Ahead Eagles celebrates ten years of All Stars with a jubilee match against Excelsior. The group, consisting of seniors who play Walking Football, had a special honor round on the field in De Adelaarshorst. Ton Kraayenzang, one of the founders of the group, was proud of the players and the organization of the jubilee. 'It was a celebration day for the boys', he said. 'They had a nice evening with snacks and drinks and on the Friday before they cut a big cake in the canteen.' The All Stars are a group of seniors who play Walking Football and are affiliated with Go Ahead Eagles. They train every Friday afternoon and have a special place in De Adelaarshorst. The group is known for their social contact and friendships among themselves. 'If someone is sick, we always think of them', said Ton Kraayenzang. 'With a bouquet or a fruit basket. And if it's serious cases, we keep in touch with the family.'
